Stabilisation of heritage bluestone banks at Swan Street

Alluvium assessed the stability of the bluestone pitching in the Yarra River. Due to the erosion of the pitching which lines the river upstream of Swan Street Bridge, a detailed design for bank protection works was undertaken. Climate change, tidal fluctuation and slumping were all considered when designing the stabilisation works.
