McKenzie River regulator

This project for Wimmera CMA required replacement of regulating structures at three sites, including a fishway at one of the sites, and an upgrade of the structure at a fourth site. The objective of the project was to enable a more reliable and accurate delivery of environmental water releases through the McKenzie River system.

Alluvium was the lead contractor and project manager. The project was subject to environmental constraints to meet Parks Victoria requirements, as well as incorporating cultural heritage oversight during construction. It has been delivered in accordance with a tight schedule dictated by water management timeframes and to the complete satisfaction of the client.
