Wise Waterways – stream management principles and practices

Wise Waterways is a 5 day intensive waterway management workshop held annually in Beechworth, Victoria. The workshop, now in its tenth year, provides participants with a combination of lectures, tutorial sessions and field experience in best practice waterway management. The program was jointly conceived by Alluvium’s Ross Hardie, who leads sessions and retains an ongoing role on the organising committee. Alluvium is a workshop sponsor, supporting the program through the in-kind donation of staff time to lead sessions and present on topics such as environmental flow determination and best practice waterway management.
