Waterway Activity Plans for the Glenelg River

Alluvium identified and recommended activities in the Glenelg River catchment to achieve the Catchment Management Authority goals for improving river ecosystem condition. By inspecting properties within the study area we identified issues and threatening processes which may affect the health of the Glenelg River. This involved the categorisation of environmental assets, threats and the extent of waterway fencing. It was important to develop strong relationships with landholders so that the knowledge gained could be presented to both the landholders and relevant authorities effectively.
