Determination of environmental flow requirements using the Victorian FLOWS method

Many river ecosystems in Victoria are showing signs of flow-stress. Over the years Alluvium has been engaged by a number of Catchment Management Authorities to assess the environmental flow requirements of many of these rivers. Using the Victorian 'FLOWS' methodology, assessments outline the minimum water requirements to meet specified ecological objectives in each river system. Rivers assessed include: Yea River (Goulburn Broken CMA), Merri River (Glenelg Hopkins CMA), Mitchell River (East Gippsland CMA), and Diamond Creek and Hoddles Creek (Melbourne Water).
